35. Craftsmanship and artistry for two raised patios: These patios were constructed using no cement, the most challenging and durable building technique. First we compact one to two feet of modified crushed stone to act as a floating dock, forming a dry laid foundation that flexes with the ground. This is far preferable to a cement foundation, which will crack over time, but has been known to crack right after installation. Proximity of the patio to the house is also key for a quality installation. This job took over 20 tons of materials to complete. We are professionally trained by EP Henry for these installations. Moreover, we choose to use EP Henry because of itÕs wide selection of esthetic stone for patios, paths, walls and driveways. Customer-Jean Gupta.
