DESCRIPTION: 2. Fruit tree installation: owner wanted to create an orchard featuring many varieties of fruit trees. Thirty-three organic & locally cultivated trees were planted including cherry, apple, peach, plum, pear, hazel nut, nectarine, and fig. To insure the health of the trees & enhance the vitality & flavor of the fruit harvested, trees are planted with highly mineralized, organic, fertilizer. A key technique for proper cultivation of these tree is the careful preparation of holes for roots many times larger then the tree ball itself to promote deep expansion of the root system. Edible Landscaping has planted hundreds of highly mineralized fruit trees.
